Roots Nutrition Therapy

FOOD.
Any substance consumed for nutritional support.

MOOD.
A temporary state of mind or feeling.

BODY.
The physical structure of a being.
Keep it simple.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
How are you feeling about food?

Food is involved in nearly every part of life.
As to say, when one's relationship to food is a struggle, life is a struggle.
Having an eating disorder is not a choice, does not discriminate, and does not define us.
Recovery goes beyond cognitive rewiring - eating disorders disconnect our bodies and minds.
With use of somatic therapies and mindfulness, this connection can heal.

How is food making you feel?

From mood to memory nutrition plays an intricate role in mental health.
When struggling with psychological problems, food can be complicated.
It doesn't have to be.
Nutrition therapy helps to create an approachable plan to achieve nourishment.
Learn to integrate nutrition as part of your holistic approach to mental wellbeing.

Recovery from eating disorders and other food related behaviors requires an individualized approach.
Taking the time to get to know you, your health, and your relationship to your body precedes all else.
Bring all of you.
I will meet you where you are.
Ready for a different approach to cultivate a harmonious relationship with food, mood, and body?
My approach is heavily influenced by the use of somatic modalities. Simply put, my offerings support mental health with use of the body.
